I made this dvd case last month for one of my clients, but have just been so busy I hadn't had time to post it, so here it is. For those that haven't seen the past posts I make these dvd cases for my photography clients. They are much more attractive than a little jewel case!

dvd case redo
So many of you know that I am a photographer as well as a crafter. I also sell Stampin' Up! and we have blank dvd cases that we sell for clear stamps. So I decided to get some and make dvd holders for the discs that I give to my photography clients. This was the first one that I made.
I made a little sleeve for the actual DVD. And then made a sleeve for my business cards. This was also perfect for me to add my print release on the left side. I like how this turned out, with the exception that the dvd slides out too easily.

Photo of the day...SOS!

Today's challenge is...SOS...Show Off Something (you're proud of).
This was the first time I used the panoramic option on my camera. I thought it was pretty cool, it wasn't the best but it turned out pretty good for being the first time I've ever done it.
I took this photo back in Michigan in March. I went there to visit my Grandma & see where my dad grew up. It wasn't the best time of year to go there (it was pretty cold & not much green), but it was great to finally be able to go.
If you ever get to the Detroit area you've got to go to Frakenmuth, it is a German town & it was great. There are many, many shops to go to & they even dress up in German attire. They have a huge Christmas store (year round). It says it's the largest Christmas store in the world & after going there I believe it. It was absolutely enormous! There was a huge room just for ornaments, one for trees & lights, one for nativities, etc. It was amazing! This town was so cool that we went there 2 days in a row. That's where I took this picture. Right behind a lot of the shops at the Cass River, beautiful...even without the green.

photo of the day...Hide.
This was last week when we went on a fieldtrip with C's preschool class to a supermarket. He was hiding from his friend when we were going through the produce department. It's not the best picture but he moved too quickly before I could re-shoot.
Photo of the day...Paint.

These were the paints I used to paint the chipboard numbers in the first picture. I mixed white with them to make them more pastel. I'm not done with the clock yet, stayed tuned for the final product, hopefully soon.

And here's a little bit of what I just finished in my kids bathroom. Now I just have to get the decor back up!

Path-photo of the day
I've participated in this Photo of the Day challenge before, but have been so busy that I haven't much lately! On this website they give you a word & you post a picture that has to do with that word. Today's word is Path. This first picture I just took last Sunday (our last day in Michigan) right in front of my Grandma's home. This is the sidewalk leading down her street. I loved the homes there, everything gave that small hometown feeling even though it's not that small.
This picture I also took in Michigan. This path leads down to the cemetary where my Step-Grandpa is buried. I never knew him but I wish I had after talking to my Grandma & feeling the love she has for him.
Visit their website at Her Space, My Space, His Space. They have some really beautiful pictures.
