{Christmas crafting...}

Photobucket
I've got a lot of catching up to do here. I was very busy with school this Fall, and although I haven't posted here for several months I did get some crafting in. I just didn't have time to post my projects here.  So now that I'm done with school I plan to get caught up with showing you all the fun crafts I've made in the last few months.
These first two projects I made with some ladies from church. We get together every couple months & make some fun, seasonal projects.  I had a Halloween & Thanksgiving craft too, but forgot to take photos of them before I packed them away.

This last one I actually made probably about 12 years ago, back when I was doing a lot of tole painting.  This is probably one of my favorite nativity's that I display at Christmas time and it's the only one I've made.

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and found time to spend with family and loved ones.

Christmas fun

Photobucket
We made these cute little Christmas mice to give to friends! My oldest daughter got one of these from a friend many years ago in elementary school and we've hung it on our tree every year. I thought this would be a cute, simple gift to give to our friends.

And this is a bigger version of the boxes we made for our December club. I just adjusted the measurements a little to make them big enough for the goodies my sister's and I made.

My sisters & I have an annual Sister's Baking Day. We made fudge, brownies, cookies, caramels, candy cane fudge & rolo pretzels. Click on the names that are in color to find the recipes on our sister's blog.

Christmas Ornaments

These are the ornaments that I made recently. I'm offering them for you to make at my upcoming Christmas Stamp Camp on Dec. 6th (along with several other projects)! Email me at: chelscraps (at) yahoo (dot) com if you'd like more information on this class.
~Glass ornaments~
~Some have rub-ons on the outside & crimped paper inside.
The others have the Felt Flurries snowflakes inside.
I really love the way they turned out!
These are $3 each!~Chipboard Ornaments~
All of these are covered with Designer Series paper (they came in a kit with the chipboard & the paper die cut to fit the chipboard). I added the elastic cord, the ribbon, glitter, rub-on's &
I mod-podged the outside to protect them. These ornaments are $2 each.

Holiday Boutique

I am participating in another Holiday Boutique coming up on:

Nov. 13th ~ 10 am-7 pm

14th ~10 am-7 pm

15th ~10 am-3 pm

It is located at 2465 E Park Court ~ Gilbert , AZ 85234
Whitewing at Wiehl Estates- east side of Greenfield Road between Elliot and Guadalupe- directly across from an LDS church. Go through gates to end (the gates will be open during the boutique)- go right on Parkcrest and then right again on Park Court- 3rd house on left.

Please do not bring small children, as there is an un-fenced pool in the backyard & we don't want any accidents.

I participated in a Holiday Bazaar this weekend & I am donating all of my profits. Here are some of the items that I still have left so if you'd like to help support this worthy cause you can purchase any of the following items. To see more information about the Christian & Stephanie Nielsen Recovery Fund see here!

~Recipe Album~$30~

I made this fun recipe album to keep all of our families favorite recipes, that I use all the time, in one place. It has come in very handy. It's very easy to add your families recipes to this album. It includes 16 pages (32 front & back, so you can add pictures of your recipes as well) & yours will come with tabs to write on, instead of the ribbon tabs. The front & back are made of chipboard & are mod podged to keep them clean. The rings are large enough to add several more pages if you'd like.

~Gratitude Journal ~$10~
This is a great time of year to start a Gratitude Journal. We are given so many blessing in this life & this is a great way to remember all the things you are grateful for each & every day, not just during the Thanksgiving holidays.

~ Christmas Tree~$15~

This fun tree stands about 13" tall & makes a fun Christmas decoration

Christmas List book~$12~

I use a book like this to keep all of my lists for the holidays. There's a page for Wish lists (to keep track of what my kids, husband & other loved ones want for Christmas), a page for my card list (to keep track of who I want to send cards to, which ones I'm including photos with, etc.), a page for my gift list (where I keep track of what I've already purchased, I do use special codes just in case my kids get ahold of the book, they won't know who is getting what). It's a great way to keep things organized & you can use this book for a couple of years in a row. I've already used mine for 2 years & have plenty of pages left.
Watch for ornaments coming soon!
