december club projects

Photobucket

These are some fun little boxes that we made for one of our December projects. You can find the tutorial here. Watch for my next post that will have another version of these boxes that I used for my Christmas goodies.

And here's a simple, but elegant card that we made. I've been wanting to get this Texturz Template for my Big Shot for a long time and finally got it last month, so I had to play with it.

I just realized tonight that I hit my 3 year blogoversary a few weeks ago. I can't believe that I've had this blog for that long. It's been so fun and I love sharing my creativity with others.

some random cards...

These are some cards that I've made over the last several months. I don't remember if I've posted them or not, but I looked through the archives & didn't see them so I don't think I have, but I may have missed them somewhere along the way. Either way...I hope you enjoy them

Thank You's

Here are a few cards that we'll be making tomorrow night at my Stamp Club. I have one more project coming...I'll post that one later.

I really love how this one turned out & I can't believe I don't even have ribbon on it! For those that don't know I am addicted to ribbon!!!!

I used the Rockabilly Specialty DSP (black stripes) for the first time.

Can you see the shiny stripes? Love that paper!

I also did the Faux Shaving Cream technique on the butterfly, although it's hard to see that.

Other supplies: Great Friend & Thank You Kindly stamp sets, Kiwi Kiss, Whisper White, Real Red & Basic Black cardstocks & inks & Stampin' Dimensionals (another favorite of mine)!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My host, & best friend Tabatha wanted me to make a thank you card that we could send to soldiers, since her daugther is serving our country in the Army right now. So I came up with this card...Supplies: The Free & The Brave & Thank You Kindly stamp sets. Riding Hood Red, Kraft & Night of Navy cardstock. Rockabilly Specialty DS Paper. Versamark & Night of Navy inks. Large star, small star & slot punches, Stampin' Dimensionals. Whisper White Organza ribbon.
Big Shot & Open House
supplies: Stamp sets: Say it with Scallops & Pocket Silhouettes
Cardstock: Pink Pirouette, Baja Breeze, Kiwi Kiss & Whisper White
Ink: Kiwi Kiss & Baja Breeze
Accessories: Big Shot die cut machine, Top Note die, Birds n' Blooms Sizzlits Dies, 1-1/4" circle punch, Square scallop punch, Pink Pirouette striped grosgrain ribbon, dimensionals
~~~~~~~~~~~
I got my Big Shot machine & dies a few weeks ago so I had to play with my new toy. I also had a new Catalog Open House last weekend & these were some of the cards I made for it (plus a few more). I wanted to let my customers play with the Big Shot a little & so I made up 4 different cards with the same colors & stamp set. Then I made a few others with my leftover supplies after. I love this new stamp set that we got free at convention too: Say it With Scallops. This stamp set is also the new Ronald McDonald stamp set. This means that for everyone of these sets that we sell Stampin' Up! donates $2 to the Ronald McDonald House Charities (along with the other $100,000 that they donate to them every year). I think this is a great cause & I was determined to try to promote this stamp set this year. So it worked out great that they gave this set to us at convention.
