a new corkboard

I've had this piece of a corkboard haning in my bedroom for several years. It started out a little nicer than this...still not something I wanted hanging in my bedroom. I needed something to keep my kids schedules & some other important items on.

I used blue, cream & brown ribbons to coordinate with the colors in my bedroom.
Some of these were the scraps from this fun project!

This is a great idea - I guess notes/photos etc could be tucked behind the ribbons OR pinned onto the cork.. I think I might have to use this idea!
