Ok, so I made this headband about 1-1/2 months ago, while camping. I am the kind of person that can't stand to sit & do nothing, so when we went to my family reunion back in July I had to bring some projects with me. Of course I had to have something that was small enough that it wouldn't get dirty. One time, many years ago I actually brought my scrapbooking stuff with me...needless to say, I brought it out once & quickly realized how hard it was going to be to keep everything clean.
I got this idea & followed the tutorial from Heart of Light. I used a fun fabric that I have had in my fabric stash for many years.
I found that I can't really wear this with just any outfit, but I did find an outfit that it looks great with & I really love how it turned out! My daughter is begging me to make her one now!

Adorable!!
Thanks for linking! And I love the headband! We camp also and I am always trying to think of small projects to take with me while I am relaxing! My latest is cross stitching! I can stitch away while I am laying back in a chair watching the kiddos ride their bikes!! Ohh Can't wait for my next camping trip!!!

Really Nice, I love how soft it looks!
Thank you all again for the kind comments.
terryd614, I'm not sure exactly what type of fabric it is. It's not cotton, it's a little sheer kind of silky, just a tiny bit of shine & a little stretchy. It actually has two layers of fabric stitched together with little tiny "pleats", if you will, on one side. The fabric kind of reminds me of the material that slips are made of, which is nylon. So it is probably some sort of nylon.
